Lens compatibility by machine model
Not all lenses are compatible with every BRM machine model. Each machine has specific lens shaft configurations that determine which lenses you can use.

BRM Budget

Lens shaft configuration

- Bottom position (near material): 50.8mm lens
- Upper position (near mirror): 101.6mm lens
Single-position shaft (older models):
- Use different nozzles for each lens to achieve correct focus distance
- Switch nozzles when changing between lenses

Lens shaft configuration
Section titled “Lens shaft configuration”Pink/red lens shaft:
- Positions on both sides of the shaft
- Rotate shaft 180 degrees to access third lens position
- One shaft accommodates all three lenses
Important notes
Section titled “Important notes”- Lens must be mounted in correct position for proper focus
- Wrong position causes focus to be above or below material
- Always verify lens orientation (convex side up)
